Happy New Year all!
Just a day away from the beginning of the next run of 90210 episodes. I must admit I will have to re-read all of the previous posts to catch up. I am excited for Brenda though, even if she is going to die eventually. Over the break I watched several episodes on soapnet and not one episode makes me like Kelly. I don't even want to get into it with her anymore as I am trying to be the bigger person in 2009.
January is a big month on the tube. This week Chuck becomes a billionaire (tonight) on Gossip Girl and rumor has it that Serena's boyfriend was written off the show. He was worthless. Her new boyfriend should have have been a bad ass like the guy marissa was messing around with on the OC after Ryan (not the girl).
Grey's anatomy is back but i have written that show off and 30 Rock is the only thursday night TV I watch.
Tonight as well is that ABC family show about the knocked up 15 year old with Molly Ringwald as the mom to this teenager directed by Jason Priestly. They must either be nuts or really just catering to the 10 year olds as they are going head to head with Gossip Girl.
Also this month set for my tivo is the return of Jack Bauer ---- Can he do something about Kelly Taylor or does there have to be a terror threat against the country?
Lost January 21.
The Real World Brooklyn debuts this month and from what i read it is just an absurd grouping with transvestites and all kinds of other creatures. I thoroughly enjoyed Real World Hollywood last season, all of those people belong in mental institutions which of course made for some good tv. That was jaw dropping reality tv at its finest.
As I am almost addicted to reality tv, 2 new shows debuted last week --- Bromance and The City. These are spin offs, yes spinoffs of my favorite reality show The Hills. Bromance with Brody Jenner and The City with Whitney Port. Did I mention these are spin offs of a reality show? I wouldn't characterize the Hills as a spin off of Laguna Beach because they had to graduate and that was their after High School life so it was more like a continuation of the nonsense. Whitney's show i watch because of my wife and for the possibility that LC might be on. Bromance is actually a contest to be Brody's "bro", quite comical. Several posts back i commented on Brody on how he was growing on me as a person and the GM of common sense on the Hills.
I had the occassion to me Brody at the Hills season finale party at Tavern on the Green and the guy is real, mixed up in all that hoolywood reality hoopla he was looking for a guy just to shoot the shit with about football. Big San Diego Chargers fan. My wife and a friend of the friend who invited us to the party arranged for this.
And the winner of Bromance is ........................

Whitney Port with the wife
